We were in the process of getting a case of these bars when I remembered a friend of mine, Barbara Crouch, volunteered for yall and sent me info. I recently sent a unit certificate of appreciation to your group along with pics of our soldiers opening the boxes. Saw the pics of them on your FB page... Thanks for putting them up! A few more arrived today (8 of them). The soldiers loved the items... It definitely makes a difference knowing that so much goes into what you all are doing. I am going to do a pretty neat project for your group and send it back home... Mail is slow, so it will probably take about 3 weeks to a month to get back. And so are the people who help you. I was in Iraq and Afghanistan and let me tell you, the packages we got was so great. Put a whole new lift in our days when we got them. Thank you very much and thanks for sending them to my friend too. It meant more to him then you can know. The cooling ties were great, they helped us a lot when it got over 140 degrees especially. It's so dry there that the moisture in the wraps helped so much. I still have sand in my clothes. I am out now, but have a lot of friends who are still in. I ended up marrying him and we've been blessed beyond measure. I think it's great that it's totally ran and operated by volunteers and no one gets paid to do anything. I recently sent a unit certificate of appreciation to your group along with pics of our soldiers opening the boxes. Saw the pics of them on your FB page... Thanks for putting them up! And so are the people who help you. I was in Iraq and Afghanistan and let me tell you, the packages we got was so great. Put a whole new lift in our days when we got them. Thank you very much and thanks for sending them to my friend too. It meant more to him then you can know. The cooling ties were great, they helped us a lot when it got over 140 degrees especially. It's so dry there that the moisture in the wraps helped so much. I still have sand in my clothes. I am out now, but have a lot of friends who are still in.
